We have never made a claim on our insurance in 35 years but we eventually had to due to some work needed on our main roof.

The insurance company said it was wear and tear even though we had just had a storm (and it didn’t leak before the storm) Ste came, fixed the issue and we asked about the insurance. We took the cover out and are very happy as unfortunately, we did have to ring Ste after ‘Storm Christof’. He came, fixed the leak and there was no charge nor an increase in the cover.
